There have not been any confirmed reports of illness due to consumption of these products, according to FSIS.<\/p>\n<p><i>E. coli<\/i> O157:H7 can cause dehydration, bloody diarrhea, and abdominal cramps 28 days (34 days, on average) after exposure to the organism.
