Sanofi is investigating the issue, according to a statement from the company.<\/p>\n<p>Several manufacturers of generic versions of Zantac had already recalled their products, which had been taken off the shelves of major U.S. retailers.<\/p>\n<p>NDMA is found in a variety of products, including cured meats, and is the same contaminant that was found in some versions of the widely used prescription blood-pressure drug valsartan, sold under the brand name Diovan.
