Average survival for those who took the Tecentriq combination was 12.3 months compared with 10.3 months among those who took the chemotherapy drugs and a placebo.<\/p>\n<p>The most common side effects among the Tecentriq group were fatigue, nausea, alopecia, constipation, and loss of appetite.<\/p>\n<p>The newly approved drug is produced by Genentech, based in South San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/Drugs\/InformationOnDrugs\/ApprovedDrugs\/ucm633814.htm\" target=\"_new\">More Information<\/a><\/p>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Copyright \u00a9 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthday.com\/\" target=\"_new\">HealthDay<\/a>.
