FRIDAY, March 21, 2025 (HealthDay News) — Nestle USA is recalling some frozen meals due to the possible presence of wood-like material, which could cause choking.<\/p>\n
The recall affects certain Lean Cuisine and Stouffer\u2019s products with best-before dates from September 2025 to April 2026.<\/p>\n
The recalled items include:<\/p>\n
Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Stouffer\u2019s Party Size Chicken Lasagna<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The meals were sold at major U.S. retailers between September 2024 and March 2025.<\/p>\n
This recall does not involve any other Lean Cuisine\u00ae or STOUFFER\u2019S\u00ae products, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration<\/a> wrote on its website.<\/p>\n The recall was issued after consumers found the foreign material in the food and reported the issue to the company. At least one person may have choked, The Associated Press<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n “We are working with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture on this recall and will cooperate with them fully,” Nestle wrote in a statement.<\/p>\n More information<\/strong><\/p>\n Customers should check the 10-digit batch codes and best-before dates on the side of the packaging.
